Superbuy is a long-established one-stop purchasing and parcel-forwarding agent for overseas shoppers, best known for lifetime free basic purchasing fees. You order from Taobao, Tmall and other Chinese stores, receive free warehouse inspection and 90 days of free storage, then consolidate parcels and pick a shipping line to keep international freight down.
About Superbuy

Superbuy launched in 2012 and helped pioneer the reverse cross-border shopping model: a China-based buying and forwarding service for shoppers outside the country. From one account you can purchase from Taobao, Tmall and other domestic marketplaces, have each parcel received and inspected in the Superbuy warehouse, and then ship everything out internationally under your own instructions. The core proposition is cost control. Basic purchasing fees are waived for life, arrival inspections and three QC photos come free, and storage runs 90 days at no charge so you can collect several orders before paying a single international freight bill. Consolidation and reinforced packaging further reduce shipping spend, and a parcel-by-parcel refund returns any difference between the prepaid shipping estimate and the final charge. Shipping coverage is wide rather than niche: more than 100 lines reach over 200 countries and regions with published pricing, and customers can pay in multiple currencies. Support is bilingual, and the company also maintains the Superbuy Spreadsheet, a search tool that lets buyers scan and filter Taobao and Tmall product data before they commit to an order. Taken together, the service covers discovery, purchase, inspection, storage and global delivery in one place.

What works well
  • Pioneer of the reverse cross-border shopping model, operating since 2012 and financially stable

  • Lifetime waiver of basic purchasing agent fees for every registered member

  • Reasonable exchange rate on top-ups

  • Unusually broad payment support, including cards, Wise, bank transfer, Bitcoin, Alipay and WeChat Pay

  • Free in-house inspection photos and 90 days of free storage before you ship

What to check
  • Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight; if the final cost is lower the difference is refunded to your Superbuy balance, not to your card

  • Free storage runs 90 days and can be extended, but items held beyond roughly 180 days can be treated as abandoned

  • Once you choose shoe-box removal, tag removal or power-on testing, the item can no longer be returned or exchanged

  • Returns and exchanges are free only for the first one or two requests per month; fees rise as frequency increases

  • Top-up fees and currency-conversion charges vary by method and are set by the payment provider, so the figure you see can change

Is Superbuy legit?

Superbuy is a real, operating service rather than a clone storefront. It has been running for more than a decade and is one of the earliest reverse cross-border shopping platforms out of China, operated by DOT Technology Hong Kong Limited (Registration No. 72396324). Public traffic data puts it above 2.6 million monthly visits, among the largest players in the category. In our test order the standard flow behaved as described, and support answered through the published bilingual channels. As with any agent, treat it as a shopping service rather than a shop: you are paying it to buy and forward goods, so order quality still depends on the individual seller you choose.

Where Superbuy is popular

Traffic data indicates the largest audiences are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France, which also explains the breadth of local payment methods on offer. That spread matters practically: if you are shipping to one of these markets, you are likely to be on a well-used line with familiar handling times rather than an experimental route.

Payment methods and top-up fees

Superbuy supports more payment routes than most agents we track, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Wise, UnionPay, bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Bitcoin, plus numerous regional wallets. Alipay and WeChat top-ups are free, with a possible 1-60 minute credit delay. Wise bank transfers are the cheapest option and are shown as a discount of about 3.13%, while credit card and Apple Pay top-ups add roughly 3.94%. Regional methods carry their own provider-set fees: Kakao Pay and GCash 2.7% plus $0.30, PIX 2% plus $0.05, PayID 2.9% plus $0.30, Trustly 3% plus $0.40, iDEAL 2% plus EUR 0.30, EPS 2% plus EUR 0.30, PayU 2% plus EUR 0.30, MB WAY 1.5% plus EUR 0.15, Bancontact 0.5% plus EUR 0.30, BLIK 2% + 0.7 PLN, BANCOMAT Pay 1% plus EUR 0.10, DANA 2.50%, PayNow 1.50%, Touch 'n Go and GrabPay 2.50%, Mercado Pago 3.50%, MyBank 1.5% plus EUR 0.22, PromptPay 2.5% plus THB 15 and Turkish bank cards 3.8%. Currency-conversion charges charged by these wallets are the buyer's responsibility. These figures reflect information available as of September 2026 and are set by payment providers, so confirm the current rate at checkout.

Value-added services and what they cost

The basics are free: arrival inspection with three QC photos, and 90 days of storage. Returns and exchanges are free for the first one or two requests in a month, then scale upward, from roughly $0.80 per return and $1.60 per exchange at two to five requests a month to about $3.23 and $6.46 respectively at ten or more. Paid extras on items include power-on inspection for 3C and electrical goods at about $1.93, a second inspection at $1.00, wire trimming at $0.80, tag removal at $0.48, product video at $3.23, live model try-on photos at $4.84, detailed inspection at $0.88 and extended storage at $1.61 per month. Parcel-level options include priority shipping from $1.61, moisture-proof bags at $0.96, stretch film at $0.64 per kg capped at $3.23, packaging video at $0.80, EPE foam filler at $0.48 per kg, foldable shoe boxes at $0.80 per package, corner protectors at $0.80 per kg capped at $4.03, vacuum compression bags at $2.74 and wooden crate reinforcement at $40.38. Prices were checked in September 2026; treat them as indicative and verify in your account. Anything that alters the item, such as tag or shoe-box removal or power-on testing, removes your ability to return it.

How to use Superbuy

  1. Step 1 - Find products with the Superbuy Spreadsheet

Start with the Superbuy Spreadsheet, the platform's product search tool. Enter a keyword, filter by category and price, compare the table of links, images, prices and stores, then copy the product links you want. The listings are useful because they collect bulk product data from Taobao and Tmall in one view, so you can compare sellers before buying instead of hunting one listing at a time. Paste your chosen links into the Superbuy platform to open the purchasing order.

  2. Step 2 - Submit the order and pay

Confirm the item details and pay from your Superbuy balance, topping up first if needed. The platform's loyalty scheme is worth using: points can be redeemed for coupons or applied as a discount, and 100 points equal 1 CNY. Membership tiers carry different shipping discounts, with up to 10% off shipping for members and a birthday package issued on the 1st of your birthday month that can reach a 20% discount. Bank-transfer top-ups are the cheapest route; card and Apple Pay top-ups carry a surcharge.

  3. Step 3 - Inspection, storage and extras

Superbuy buys the items for you from the chosen seller. On arrival at the warehouse you get three free QC photos and 90 days of free storage, which can be extended for a monthly fee, though items held beyond roughly 180 days may be considered abandoned. Optional services include shoe-box removal, trimming loose threads, tag removal, live try-on photos, QC videos, ironing and power-on testing for electronics. Be careful: once you pick shoe-box or tag removal or power-on testing, the item cannot be returned.

  4. Step 4 - Consolidate and ship out

Merge the items sitting in your warehouse into one parcel, compare the available shipping lines and choose a route. Freight is prepaid on estimated weight; if the real cost is lower, the difference is refunded to your Superbuy account. Charges are driven by volume as well as weight, so topping up a parcel with small everyday items such as socks, underwear or phone cases often costs nothing extra and improves the value of the shipment.

Shopping-agent guide

Superbuy works best when you treat it as two tools: a product-finding spreadsheet and a warehouse. The Superbuy Spreadsheet is built for buyers outside China who want to scan domestic listings in bulk instead of searching one item at a time. Type a keyword, filter by category or price band, and the tool returns a table of product links, images, prices and store details that you can compare side by side. When something looks right, copy the link and import it into the Superbuy platform to place a purchasing order. That keeps discovery and buying in one workflow rather than tab-hopping between a marketplace and an agent. The ordering side is conventional for a purchasing agent but generous on price. Create an account, submit the product links you found, and pay once Superbuy confirms the domestic price. There is no basic purchasing fee, so your outlay is the item cost plus any domestic delivery to the warehouse. Money is held on account, which is why topping up early usually beats paying per item, and the exchange rate applied at top-up is one of the more competitive among the platforms we track. What happens in the warehouse is the part that decides your final bill. When goods arrive, Superbuy photographs them and stores them free for 90 days; the same window can be extended for a monthly fee, though anything left for around half a year may be written off as abandoned. During that window you keep adding orders, then request consolidation so several parcels merge into one international shipment. You choose the line yourself from a long list, shipping is charged as a deposit against estimated weight, and any overpayment is refunded to your account balance. Filling the last kilos of a parcel with socks, underwear or phone cases is a genuinely cheap way to use the space. Two cautions are worth repeating before you commit. First, optional services such as removing shoe boxes, trimming loose threads, removing tags, live try-on photos and power-on testing for electronics are useful, but once selected they usually make the item non-returnable, so apply them only to things you are keeping. Second, warehouse services and payment top-ups are priced individually and change over time; the numbers we quote reflect information available as of September 2026 and should be checked in your account before you rely on them. In our own test order we pushed a two-item purchase through the standard flow and found the sequence intuitive: submit links, top up, approve the domestic purchase, review the QC photos, then consolidate. The friction points were the usual ones for this category, namely a shipping estimate that is settled after packing and a top-up fee that depends heavily on which payment route you pick. Buyers who plan storage and consolidation in advance tend to get the most out of the platform.
