iTaobuy is easier to understand as a routing platform than as a single shop. A Taobao or Weidian listing that parses cleanly, a Yupoo album that needs hand-typed instructions, and an item the buyer already purchased elsewhere do not enter the process the same way. Direct Buy, Fill&Buy and forwarding pull those sources into one warehouse, where visible-condition QC, consolidation and international dispatch happen next. MegaShip then extends that pipeline past ordinary consumer parcels to eligible DDP sea-freight consignments of up to 3 tons. Because shipping is where a spreadsheet budget usually collapses, our testing team focused on the handoffs rather than the fee headline: which route controlled the purchase, which costs appeared at each stage, and what the buyer must personally review before a parcel leaves. The risk shifts to the buyer: the warehouse receives whatever arrives, and the QC photos describe condition on arrival rather than the original seller's promises. Consolidation is worth planning early because the 90-day free-storage window is what lets several domestic parcels become one international shipment. Confirm domestic tracking has actually delivered before assuming an item is in storage, and check restricted-item rules before adding anything unusual to a consolidated box.

MegaShip is advertised as DDP sea freight for eligible oversized consignments of up to 3 tons into the EU, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. It is a different shipping architecture from an express parcel line, so a lower per-kilogram figure does not automatically make it the better choice. Ask about minimums, destination coverage, restricted goods, handling requirements and transit expectations, then request a live quote for the actual box. Ordinary hauls should still be compared across standard parcel lines by chargeable weight, tax treatment and compensation.

iTaobuy's basic inspection reports visible defects and whether obvious details such as size and color look correct. It is not an authenticity check, a materials test or a fit guarantee, so the buyer remains the final reviewer. Review images as soon as they post, because a return decision usually depends on the seller's own window, which is shorter than the warehouse's 90 free storage days. Storage time is for waiting on other parcels and building a consolidation plan. Treating it as a grace period for slow QC is how rows quietly go stale.

A supplied Weidian preview checked on 19 September 2026 showed a product total of CNY 860 against a displayed US$151.29, which is 860 ÷ 151.29 = 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same view added CNY 15 of domestic shipping, shown as US$2.64, for an order total of US$153.93 with international freight excluded. That is a dated snapshot, not a permanent rate. Log the date, the product amount, domestic delivery, any optional service and the international quote as separate fields, then re-run the division when the real order is placed.
