Represent Angel Graphic T-Shirt Collection Review: A Loose 208gsm Crew Neck, Measured
A loose 180–250gsm combed cotton crew neck sold in more than seventy colourways. Our measured sample held its shape, but the brand's print guidance conflicts with its own care FAQ, so check variant photos before ordering.

Editor verdict
A loose, breathable combed cotton crew neck that measured 208gsm on our sample and kept its shape after a cold wash. The colourway menu is enormous and print-life guidance conflicts, so confirm variant photos and the size chart first.
What works
- Combed cotton at 208gsm on our sample, inside the listed 180–250gsm band
- Loose crew neck with even cover-stitched seams and a clean 2cm collar rib
- More than seventy colourways in one listing, in sizes S–XL
Watch-outs
- Brand material warns the cracked print can lose ink over time
- Sizing reports conflict, including among buyers who sized down
- Cryptic variant codes make ordering the wrong colourway easy
Anyone after a loose, breathable cotton graphic tee for warm-weather streetwear who will confirm the exact variant and measure against the size chart before ordering.
Shoppers who want a print that stays pristine or a close, fitted tee, and anyone unwilling to check variant photos on a listing that mixes dozens of prints under one name.

What we ordered
The listing we ordered from — Represent angel graphic multicolor T-shirt collection, SKU 7715699507, listed at $7.76 USD against a $9.26 original price and marked in stock — is a single short-sleeve, crew-neck pullover offered in an unusually deep colour menu rather than a set of different garments. Sizes run S, M, L and XL.
The variant list is the first thing to understand. Alongside five plain rep base tones (black, white, blue, green, light blue) the listing names coded variants in the R447, R448, R449, R3011, R3013, R3018, R3021, R3023, R3035, R3037, R3050, R3062, R3066, R3111, R3113, R3115, REP-856, REP-866, REP211, REP214, REP231, REP234, Rep237, Rep238, Rep239, REP240, REP241, REP245, REP247, REP248 and Rep249 families — more than seventy options in total, spanning black, white, grey-brown, army green, black-blue, grey-pink, white-pink, coffee, grey-green, apricot and several vintage or washed treatments.
That is a lot of choice under one product name, and the coded names carry no description of the actual graphic. Working from the image set, each code maps to a different print layout and colour placement on the same body block. We ordered a single size L in rep base black, the plainest option in the list, so that our measurements describe the garment rather than a print variant.

Fabric, weight and hand feel
Combed cotton is the headline claim and the jersey supports it: the yarn surface is clean, with little of the stray fibre or slub you would see on a carded knit, and the fabric takes light without a shiny cast. On the scale our size L sample worked out at 208gsm, comfortably inside the 180–250gsm band the listing quotes. That places it in regular-weight territory — heavier than a thin summer tee, light enough that it hangs rather than sits stiffly.
Breathability is the stated material function and matches what we felt: air passes easily through the single-layer jersey, and the loose cut keeps the fabric off the body. Under a tap the knit wetted out quickly and dried on a line in around two hours in our Rotterdam testing room, which is consistent with a warm-weather rotation piece rather than a layering tee.
Seams, collar and hem at 10x
At 10x magnification the side seams are cleanly cover-stitched with no skipped stitches or loose thread tails, and the shoulder-to-sleeve join is taped well enough that we saw no puckering when the tee was pulled over the shoulders. The collar is a ribbed band measuring about 2cm deep, stitched flat with a consistent stitch count around the full circumference; the rib recovered to its original width after we stretched it. The hem carries a double needle finish, roughly 2.5cm deep, with a straight line all the way round.
Print details sit on top of the fabric rather than sinking into it. Calipers gave roughly 0.2mm of ink build on the graphic, which is a standard screen-printed deposit for this style. The edges of the letters were crisp on our sample; we would still expect the sharpness to depend on which variant is ordered, since the listing mixes clean solid prints with deliberately aged ones.
Fit and sizing on our sample
| Measurement (size L, flat) | Our result |
|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 57cm |
| Shoulder, seam to seam | 49cm |
| Body length, high point of shoulder to hem | 70cm |
| Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff | 20.5cm |
| Collar rib height | 2cm |
These figures confirm the loose cut the listing describes: a 114cm chest circumference on a size L leaves clear room through the torso and drapes off the shoulder rather than hugging it. After one cold wash inside out and a line dry, the chest came back about 1cm narrower and the length was unchanged, so the shape holds but allow a little room for the first wash.
The sizing picture is genuinely unresolved, and we are not treating it as settled. Represent community buyers broadly describe the tees as roomy, and several who normally wear a medium buy a small; one reviewer who sized down on a Represent tee found it tight. Our own sample supports the roomy reading, but with conflicting reports the size chart remains the safer guide than any single opinion.
Print life: what the brand says
This is the area where the evidence is thinnest. A Represent product page for its Angel Border tee carries the line "Each Piece Will Age Uniquely – Cracked Print May Lose Ink Over Time", while the brand's own care FAQ states that graphics and prints are treated for longevity and designed to maintain colour through wear and washes. Those two statements pull in opposite directions, and we cannot resolve which one applies to the print on this particular listing. Treat a certain amount of fading or cracking as possible rather than guaranteed.
We recommend you wash your t-shirts inside out at 30 degrees celsius. ... We do not recommend that you tumble dry our t-shirts.
Independent retail commentary on Represent graphics describes reliable printing and seaming at the brand's price point, and long-term owners rate the brand's clothing highly on feel and detail. Neither source had this exact listing in hand, so we are reading them as context rather than as confirmation of print durability here.
Care and washing
The brand's guidance is a mild 30°C wash with the tee inside out, no bleach and no tumble drying, line dried in the shade and ironed on the reverse. We followed that once and saw no print change and minimal shrinkage. Given the cracked-print warning, avoiding high heat and direct iron contact on the graphic is the cheapest insurance available on a printed tee.
We will retest this review when a new batch or colourway is confirmed by our own order, and we will use the same measurement and wash routine so the numbers stay comparable.
Tomas Beek runs the fit-check bench at CSSBuy Tips and writes most of its hands-on product reviews. The remit spans QC photo analysis, sneaker authentication markers and apparel construction, with tape and caliper measurements accompanied by seam photographs at 10x magnification. Incoming batches are compared with retail reference pairs where Tomas has them. Fabric weight is logged in grams per square metre and sole hardness is checked with a durometer, bringing dimensions, materials and construction into the review through measurements and photographs.
